지식정보화사회에서 한국문화의 원천을 바탕으로 정체성 있는 디자인을 개발하기 위한 강좌로, 한반도의 부족국가시대부터 조선시대까지 시대적으로 변천되어온 건축과 실내, 가구디자인의 형성배경, 디자인 특성, 기본 원리들을 이해한다. 이를 디자인스튜디오에 적용하여 세계속의 한국적 이미지를 형상화 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Students learn the backgrounds to and developments in architecture, interior and furniture designs from Korea's ancient tribal era to the Chosun Dynasty, as well as the characteristics of design and basic principles. They develop basic knowledge on how to apply these to a design studio.
