스페이스디자인전공에서 3년 동안 경험해왔던 공간디자인 관련 다양한 교육을 ’스페이스디자인스튜디오I, II, III’를 통하여 최종적으로 체계화한다. 본 교과목의 결과물은 졸업작품을 중심으로 공유되며 1년 동안 진행되는 일련의 과정을 통하여 고도화 되어 공간디자인 교육의 완성을 지향한다.
‘스페이스디자인스튜디오I’ 은 졸업작품 수행을 위한 주제 및 개념에 대한 다양한 부분에서의 리서치를 중심으로 시작되는데 이는 새로운 공간창출을 위한 지역적 컨텍스트, 사회변화, 환경적 요소, 심리적 요인 등에 대한 포괄적 리서치와 공간계획을 위한 사례조사와 자료의 수집 및 현장조사가 포함된다. 본 교과목은 ‘스페이스디자인스튜디오II’ 와 상시 연동되어 진행되며 ‘스페이스디자인스튜디오II’에서 진행한 공간디자인의 결과물을 이와 같은 리서치를 통하여 상시 조정하며 디자인의 방향을 제시한다.
교과목해설(영문)
All Space Design Studies that have been experienced at ‘Major in Space Design’ will be systematized through the courses of 'Space Design Studio I, II, III'. The results of these courses will be virtually shared on ‘thesis project’ and will be advanced through a series of these courses that are conducted for one year to aim for the completion of space design education.
'Space Design Studio I' begins with a focus on various research about project topics and spatial concepts for the thesis project. It continues to comprehensive research on the local context, social change, environmental factors, and psychological factors for the creation of the new spaces. This includes case studies for the new space, data collection, and general surveys. This course is inter-locked with the course of 'Space Design Studio II' and the spatial design conducted in this course is constantly controlled and adjusted through the research in the 'Space Design Studio II' to propose the direction of the design.
