가구의 개념 및 필요성, 가구를 이루는 각 요소 분석, 재료와 제작방법 등에 관한 총체적 기초 이론을 습득하고, 목공기계 및 공구 사용법, 기본적인 목공실습을 통해 가구제작을 위한 기초능력을 배양한다.

Students will learn the concept and necessity of furniture, analyze every components of furniture, learn the comprehensive theories of materials and manufacturing methods, obtain basic knowledge on manufacturing furniture through the uses of woodwork machinery, tools and the practices of basic carpentry.
