구조는 가구, 실내장치물, 건축, 토목 등 일정한 형태를 유지하면서 세워져 있는 모든 것들에게 적용되는 힘의 원리이다. 실내디자인에서는 기본적인 구조원리를 수식적인 풀이보다는 직관적, 감각적으로 완전히 이해하고 있는 것이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 강좌는 학생들에게 구조의 개념을 이해시키고, 실내디자인에서 가능한 공간 규모를 파악할 수 있는 능력을 배양시키며, 나아가 구조를 응용한 디자인을 개발한다.

Students will understand the basic structures and concepts needed for interior and furniture designs and architecture, develop abilities to learn structural techniques and sizes which can be combined with design, and turn out designs applying structures.
